MECTA Captains Meeting November 18, 1998 - Minutes

Attendees

Cheryl Gilbert (BIW), Bill Whelan (LLB), Irene Fitzgerald (OPP), Jennifer Brock (WEX), Peter Serunian (Blue Cross) and Alan Muir (Pierce Atwood).

Elections – Elections new Officers and Board Members were held with the following outcome: Cheryl Gilbert – President, Jennifer Brock – Vice President, Irene Fitzgerald – Secretary/Treasurer, Peter Serunian – Board Member and Tom Blake Board Member.

Administrative Director – The committee was not able to meet prior to this meeting. Jennifer Brock stated that she would not be able to participate on this committee, however Cheryl Gilbert stated that she was willing to participate.

5013C Status – Alan Muir is going to gather the necessary information and forward it to Irene.

Mailing Address – Irene will be opening a post office box in Portland

Year 2000 Meet – If anyone is interested in joining a committee to give a further look at this meet, please contact Tom Blake. Tom will be arranging a meeting to discuss the Year 2000/2001 meets with all interested parties. Tom can be e-mailed at TEblake@aol.com or phoned 207 799-5723.

Letterhead – Jenn Brock submitted several designs, one was selected with the request that MECTA officers be listed down the right-hand side. Please contact Jenn if you need any letterhead.

Meeting Schedule for 1998 – all meetings for the remainder of 1998 will be held at 5:30pm at Wright Express on the following dates:

Treasurer’s Report

The MECTA checking account currently has $1,314.56 the MECTA account as UNUM has an approximate balance of $10,027.79 for an overall balance of $11,342.35.

When - Wednesday, December 16^th at 5:30pm.

Location - Wright Express Corporation at 97 Darling Avenue in South Portland.
